HEIMTEXTIL 2012 Exhibition, in Frankfurt (Germany)

MASIAS MAQUINARIA participated once again to the HEIMTEXTIL 2012 which took place from 11th to 14th January in Frankfurt. During this show, every year, all our Commercial Team and our Direction have the opportunity to share impressions and new ideas with our worldwide customers, friends and other new visitors in order to determine at the end what are the present needs of the international bedding sector.

ITMA Show, in Barcelona from 22 to 29 September 2011

The ITMA Exhibition, which took place in Barcelona this year (from 22 to 29 September), is the most important commercial show of Textile Machinery worldwide. In this edition, Masias presented a complete line to produce opened fibre pad rolls with an ultrasonic welding device, in order to avoid the use of the traditional wadding rolls in the quilts and comforters productions. This is a compact line with high capacity and flexibility.

Interzum Exhibition, in Colonia 25th to 28th May 2011

Masias Maquinaria was pleased to introduce during the last INTERZUM Edition in Köln (from 25 to 28 May 2011) their standard line to recycle wastes of foam and mattress panels in order to blend efficiently those 2 recycled materials with opened fibres, as per the customer's wish, and use it as a filling material in new sofa cushions and mattress panels.

Interzum Exhibition, in Colonia 25th to 28th May

We are pleased to inform you that, once more, we will be participating in the most important Machines and Accessories International Exhibition for the Mattress Industry, INTERZUM 2011, from 25th to 28th May, in Cologne (Germany).
As in former INTERZUM editions, all our displayed machines will be in running conditions showing the whole process from the raw material up to the end product.

HEIMTEXTIL exhibition, in Frankfurt (Germany) 12 to 15 January 2011

MASIAS Maquinaria participated in the last HEIMTEXTIL exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, between 12th and 15th January. Every year, in this exhibition, are shown the latest trends and designs for pillows, quilts, comforters and mattresses. It is one of the main professional meeting point in these sectors.

First automatic line to make quilts in Europe

MASIAS MAQUINARIA, S.L. participates in the project to install the first automatic line to make quilts in Europe for the French company VENTRON CONFECTION, European leader in textile services.
MASIAS has built and installed, among others, a feed direct System, SAD-MF TA-30 which is coupled to a punch Mammut.
The installation has finished in October 2010.

TEXFAIR Exhibition in Blumenau, Brasil, 18 to 21 May 2010

MASIAS Maquinaria participated in the last TEXFAIR exhibition in Blumenau, Brasil, between 18th and 21st May, to introduce the latest automatic installations to produce pillows, quilts, and comforters.

ISPA Exhibition in Charlotte (SC-USA), 3 to 6 March 2010

During the last ISPA Exhibition in Charlotte (SC-USA), mostly focused in the mattress industry, MASIAS MAQUINARIA has shared its experience in the development of new technologies to increase competitiveness of mattresses manufacturers through our Direct Feeding System. MASIAS Group objective to protect and recycle environmental are focused not only on the option to recover and reuse the waste production of padding material on a new finished product, but also promoting a collaborative technological research on the possibility to recycle used mattresses.

New Masias Maquinaria show-room

Masias Machinery has just completed the installation of a new showroom. The showroom has all the necessary machines for the manufacturing of pillows, comforters and mattress covers with a variety of materials, additionally the facility has retrieval systems waste production will be used to return the production process.

HEIMTEXTIL 2010 - 13 to 16 January 2010

Within the framework of last HEIMTEXTIL Exhibition in Frankfurt (Germany), Masias Maquinaria introduced the latest developments in MASIAS filling equipments for pillows, cushions, quilts, mattress panels...with all kind of natural and man-made fibers, balls, feather, foam and other materials.

Change in Society

Starting December 2009, Masias Maquinaria has changed his legal entity following a transformation from “Sociedad Anónima” to “Sociedad limitada”.

The only change that this modification will supose is purely formal without any other implication than the substitution of the mention “S.A.” by “S.L.” and the initial letter in our V.A.T. number. So new data for the purpose of any invoice to be issued to Masias Maquinaria are:

Masias Maquinaria, S.L. presents two new machines.

The new catalogue of Masias Maquinaria includes two new machines that make it possible for the customers to increase the productivity of the existing installations. These two units were presented last May at Interzum exhibition in Cologne.

RESIFOAM is designed for the recycling of foam and is a complementary device to Masias sofa filling equipment.

Completion of the development of the new automatic textile machinery for the optimised duvet filling operations

The Centre for Industrial Technology Development (CDTI - Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial), an organisation that is part of the Ministry of Industry, certifies the successful completion of the project “Technological development of a new automatic textile machine for the optimised and high quality duvet filling operations”. The investment development total of the project has been 420,000 €, with the support of the CDTI in the form of a loan that covers 50% of the total investment.
